Ukraine national team defender Vitaliy Mykolenko expressed his gratitude for the support while he was recovering from a foot injury during Euro 2024.
"I want to thank everyone for the support until the last minute. It was a very difficult period for me mentally and physically.
I thank my family for their support during this time. Thank you to my teammates and coaching staff for their support and understanding. And, of course, thank you to all the staff who restored and protected me all this time, I appreciate you very much," - wrote Mikolenko on his page in the social network Instagram.
Recall, the foot injury Mykolenko received in a friendly match with Moldova just before Euro 2024. Because of this, he missed the matches of the European championship with Romania and Slovakia, but fell into the starting lineup of the national team of Ukraine for the duel with Belgium.
