As previously reported, the head coach of the Ukrainian national team Serhiy Rebrov attended yesterday's meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
The guest of honor of Ukraine during a short dialogue with the coach praised the Ukrainian national team for the quality of the game demonstrated at Euro 2024.
"You played very well, my congratulations. You have very quality players in your national team. You were just unlucky," Orban said to Rebrov.
Note that the head of Hungary knows perfectly well the head coach of the national team of Ukraine, because that from 2018 to 2021 Rebrov headed the Hungarian "Ferencvaros". Under the leadership of the Ukrainian specialist, this team became Hungarian champion three times, and also for the first time in 25 years made it to the group stage of the Champions League.
