"The difference between the Netherlands and Romania was much bigger than 3:0" - former Romania national team footballer

Former midfielder of the Romanian national team Basarab Panduru commented on the defeat of his country's national team from the Netherlands (0:3) in yesterday's match of the 1/8 finals of Euro 2024.

"I want to congratulate the Romanian national team for taking first place in the group. But in today's match the team looked very bad. The score was 3-0, but the reality on the pitch was different: the difference between the Netherlands and Romania was much bigger.

The Dutch dominated us from the first to the last minute. They adjusted their usual game and with this they completely offset all the strengths of Romania," Orange Sport quoted Panduru as saying.
