News from the camp of Dynamo Kyiv's rival in the 2nd qualifying round of the Champions League. Belgrade Partizan is conducting an active summer transfer campaign: five new players have joined the team in less than a month.
The first for the Belgrade team was the transfer of 25-year-old Serbian striker Djordje Jovanovic. He moved to Partizan on loan from Swiss Basel.
Then Partizan was strengthened by 26-year-old Bosnian defender Nihad Mujakic, who previously played for Turkish club Ankaragücü.
Two legionnaires from exotic countries also appeared in Dinamo's opponents' lineup - 26-year-old Honduran supporting midfielder Kerwin Arriaga (transferred from American club Minnesota United) and 20-year-old striker Ibrahim Zubairu from Ghana (last season also played in Serbia, for Unity UB).
Finally, Partizan's fifth acquisition was 29-year-old Slovenian left-back Mario Jurčević, who previously played for Apollon Cyprus.
We would like to remind you that Partizan is currently at a tournament in Moscow called "Bratskiy Cup", where they will play against local Dynamo and CSKA.
