Half of the matches of the first round of the 2024/2025 Ukrainian championship will be postponed.
According to former journalist Ihor Burbas on his telegram channel, the reason for the postponement of a number of matches is the call-up of players to the Ukrainian Olympic team for the Olympic Games.
Earlier it was decided that if 2 or more players are absent from the squad, the team's match has the right to be postponed. We have the following (in quotes - the number of delegates to the Olympics):
Vorskla (2) - Shakhtar (5)
Oleksandriya (3) - Dynamo (2)
Rukh (3) - Polissya
Dnipro-1 (2) - LNZ
The UPL is scheduled to start on the first weekend of August.
