Ruslan Rotan: "There are not many players on our list, and it was their dream..."

Ruslan Rotan, head coach of the Ukrainian Olympic team, commented to Tribuna on the team's roster for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

- All the best players who were available to us have been called up for the Olympics. It is a pity that our list does not include many players who have won this right. It was their dream.

However, we believe in the players who will replace our leaders. We will do everything in our power to represent the country with dignity at the historic tournament for Ukrainian football.

Unfortunately, we have problems with preparations for the tournament. Every day there are clubs that send letters saying they will release their players just before the Olympics. I would like to ask the coaches of these teams for advice. Could you please tell me how to prepare the team and hold international sparring matches under the Ukrainian flag in such a situation?" Rotan said.
