Shakhtar U-19 head coach Oleksiy Belik said that his team fell just short of winning the Ukrainian league last season.
- A number of key players of Shakhtar's youth team are currently with the first team at a training camp in Slovenia, while Shakhtar U-19 are joined by players from the Academy's younger age groups. How does this affect the organization of the training process and are there any difficulties caused by this?
- This has its difficulties, but this is not the first time we have faced this. This has always been the case at Shakhtar U-19, and it's normal: someone comes from a team of a younger age category, and someone, on the contrary, leaves the team, having an offer from another club. We are working, and we will cope with it. I see great desire and potential in the young players who have joined us. There are also players who played last season when they fell just short of becoming champions, but we will work and try to improve in the future.
