As previously reported, the Ukrainian striker of Belgian Brugge Roman Yaremchuk is in the sphere of interest of Italian Bologna. However, it turned out that the option of such a transfer is not a priority for the Serie A representative.
According to the authoritative Italian publication La Gazzetta dello Sport, Bologna are targeting forward Fotis Ioannidis from Panathinaikos and are currently working on this transfer.
But, as the source writes, there is a possibility that Bologna will not be able to meet the financial demands of Panathinaikos. And then the Italians will switch to the option with Yaremchuk.
At the same time, Armando Broya from Chelsea and Georges Mikautadze from French side Metz are also on Bologna's transfer shortlist to strengthen the attacking line. So, the Italian club should not expect any alternative targeting for the acquisition of Yaremchuk.
Recall, not so long ago Brugge and Turkish Trabzonspor agreed on the transfer of Yaremchuk for €8 million, but at the last moment the forward refused such a transfer, as he learned about the interest in him from the above-mentioned Bologna, as well as French Brest.
