Former Dynamo Kyiv head coach Mircea Lucescu believes that it is inappropriate to talk about such a concept as a generation of players.
"I don't believe in generations of players, I believe in people who work with these players. When there is a group of people focused on building a strong team, then results are bound to come. The team builds individuals, not individuals build the team.
Building a team takes at least 4-5 years. Therefore, it is not normal when a coach leaves if he does not achieve results in one year of working with the team. Perhaps, even the current Romanian national team has not yet said its last word, because building this team lasts only 2-3 years," Gazeta Sporturilor quoted Lucescu as saying.
