Bayern Munich and Germany winger Leroy Sane successfully undergoes surgery

Bayern Munich and German national team winger Leroy Sane underwent surgery after an injury in the groin area, Bild reports.

After suffering severe pain for weeks, Sane had no choice but to undergo the surgery. The 28-year-old aims to regain his fitness within three to four weeks and take part in the pre-season training under Vincent Kompany. He is expected to be ready to join training on July 29.

It should be noted that Sane was injured and had to leave the field during the break of the Euro 2024 quarterfinal match with Spain (1-2), giving way to Florian Wirtz.
