Kyiv Dynamo were interested in acquiring the central defender of Shlensk Lukasz Beiger, but this transfer failed. This is reported by the portal Meczyki.pl.
According to the source, Beiger received a very favorable financial offer from Dynamo and took a few days to think it over.
However, today it became known that Beiger refused the offer after Russian troops massively shelled Kiev on Monday, July 8, resulting in the destruction of the children's hospital Okhmatdet.
It should be noted that Beiger, who successfully spent last season for Shlensk, is a pupil of the Manchester United academy: from 2018 to 2021, the defender played for United's youth team.
