Barcelona central defender Ronald Araujo risks missing the start of the new season due to an injury he sustained in the Copa America quarterfinal match against Brazil, Mundo Deportivo reports.
Araujo left the match against Brazil in pain and tears due to a muscle injury. Pending the final results of medical tests, it is expected that the Uruguayan could be out of action for six to eight weeks.
"Barcelona will start the new season of the Spanish league on August 17 at the Mestalla, away to Valencia.
