On the eve of the 2024 Summer Olympics, the famous British magazine FourFourTwo published its version of the ranking of the best soccer players in history, who have won Olympic gold medals.
There was also a place in this list for the representative of Dynamo Kyiv - former midfielder of this team Alexey Mikhailichenko, who became the Olympic champion at the 1988 Summer Games in Seoul as a member of the USSR national team.
At that Olympics, the Dynamo player took part in all matches of the Soviet team and scored 5 goals. Let us remind you that in the final of the 1988 Games the USSR defeated Brazil with the score 2:1.
As for the rating itself, the first in it is mentioned Argentine Lionel Messi (Olympic champion in 2008). In second place is another representative of Argentina, Javier Mascherano (Olympic champion in 2004 and 2008). Brazilian Neymar (2016 Olympic champion) rounded out the top three.
