On Wednesday, July 10, Dynamo Kyiv played the first control match at the off-season training camp, which started recently in Austria. The opponent of Oleksandr Shovkovskiy's team was Paderborn, the representative of the second German Bundesliga.

The first half of this match was relatively evenly contested, but Paderborn looked more interesting and sharper in attack. Therefore, it is not surprising that Nescheret repeatedly saved his team.
The German team was closest to success in the 23rd minute of the match, when its most dangerous attack ended with a shot from outside the penalty area, and only Nescheret's reaction, who kicked the ball away, saved Dynamo from a goal. As for the attacking actions of Kyiv in the first half of the game, we can only note Brazhko's long-range shot, which, however, was confidently handled by the Paderborn goalkeeper. Anyway, the teams went into the break with zeros on the scoreboard.
In the second half, the game became more entertaining and spicy, but, in general, its pattern did not change: a slight advantage was, as before the break, on the side of Paderborn, and to the real sharpness of the team's actions, in fact, did not bring their actions. So it's not surprising that in the end the referee recorded a nil-nil draw in this match.
We would like to add that Dynamo will play their next sparring at the training camp in Austria on the next Saturday, July 13. This time the rival of Kyiv team will be another German, but already a representative of the first Bundesliga - Schalke from Gelsenkirchen.
