Ukraine's U-19 national team wins control match against Dynamo's double before departure for Euro 2024

The youth national team of Ukraine (players not older than 2005) continues to train in Poland in preparation for the final of the 2024 U-19 European Championship. On July 9, Dmytro Mykhailenko's wards held a sparring match with the Polish third league club Olympia (Elbląg) and won with a score of 2: 1.

Our team conceded a penalty kick in the 60th minute, but did not lose heart and managed to turn the tide. In the 80th minute, Ponomarenko hit the ball into the net with a powerful shot after a rebound, and three minutes later he scored the winning goal from the penalty spot. 2:1.

Most importantly, the coaching staff was able to review the entire personnel potential of the national team, which will provide information for reflection before the exams in Northern Ireland, where the team leaves on Thursday, July 11.
