Colombia captain Jamez Rodriguez shared his emotions after the 1-0 victory over Uruguay in the semifinals of the 2024 Copa America.
"We played a perfect game. The referee was too kind. The defenders did a great job.
The match was very difficult, with a very difficult opponent, but we won a well-deserved place in the final. I have been waiting for this for 13 years. We are incredibly happy," ESPN quoted Hames as saying.
In the final of the tournament, the Colombian national team will play against Argentina. The match will take place on July 15.
