Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden called the victory over the Netherlands in the Euro 2024 semifinals his best match for the England national team.
"I've been much better in the last two games and my position on the pitch helps me get the ball into dangerous areas. I was more like myself as I play for City, acting on the outskirts of the penalty area and taking shots.
The most important thing is that the team wins, but I feel that today was probably my best match in an England shirt. I'm pleased," Foden was quoted as saying by Sky Sports.
