Yesterday, Shakhtar Donetsk suffered their first defeat during the summer off-season friendlies.
The Pitmen were beaten 1-0 by Serbian club Bačka Topola, who became bronze medalists of their country's championship at the end of last season. The only goal in this meeting was scored in the 4th minute of the game.
We would like to add that this is already Shakhtar's third match within the pre-season preparation. Before that, Shakhtar beat Bosnian Sarajevo (4-1) and drew with Croatian Hajduk (1-1).
