The start of the season in the first league has been postponed by a week. Now it is synchronized with the UPL

The Ukrainian first league season was supposed to start on July 26, but today it became known about changes in the original plan.

As UA-Football has learned from its own sources, the first round of the first league of the 2024/25 season will take place on August 3-4. It should be noted that the new UPL championship also begins on these dates.

It will be recalled that 18 clubs will start in the first league this year. The teams will be divided into two groups of nine clubs on a geographical basis. The top 4 teams from each group will advance to the championship round and play for tickets to the UPL. Within the group of eight teams, each club will play eight matches.

The final lineup is not yet known, as there is information that Minaj may start the new season in the UPL.
