"If the problem is certification, then Dnipro-1 should have replaced Minaj" - Veres president

The president of Veres Rivne, Ivan Nadein, spoke about the problems of Dnipro-1, which is on the verge of survival.

"In the football community, information actually spreads very quickly. And rumors about possible problems of Dnipro-1 appeared a long time ago. If there is a problem with the payment of wages, how can the club be issued a certificate? And the club was granted the certificate to a European Cup participant. Because of the certification committee, Ukraine may lose its representative in the European arena. This is the root of this story, in my opinion. The way out of this situation is to pay attention to the reform of certification bodies. To begin with, we should involve the UPL in this process. If the problem is with certification, Dnipro-1 should replace Minaj."

But I would suggest a third option. We have very few matches in the season. 32 official games along with cup games. Two additional matches in the fall and spring will not radically affect the calendar. Thus, we will increase the number of teams to 18, the number of matches in the league will increase to 34 and we will allow Minaj, Metalist 1925 and the third team of the First League, Livyi Bereh, which has excellent infrastructure, to join the league. A league that expands during the war is a league of courage," Nadein said.
