Dedyshyn explains why Rukh players are going to the Olympic team on different dates

Rukh CEO Ihor Dedyshyn spoke about the situation with the Lviv club's players, who were summoned by Ruslan Rotan to the Ukrainian Olympic team camp.

Ihor Dedyshyn

- Ihor Mykhailovych, Ruslan Rotan appealed to the managers of Zorya and Rukh to let the players go to the Olympic team camp earlier.

- "We released Fedir almost on time, on July 9-10, and Krasnopir left today, on the 14th. Sych is going to the Olympic team camp immediately after the sparring match with Luton, which will take place on July 16. We agreed on this with Rotan, reached a compromise and we have no problems.

I personally discussed the dates with Rotan and he agreed. I understand that Ruslan Petrovych wanted to ideally get all the players on the 9th, but Rukh has arguments for each of them. The players must undergo at least partial training with the club.

- Why are Fedir, Krasnopir and Sych going to the Olympic team on different dates?

- Fedir had an injury and has not yet trained in the general group. We were thinking of treating him and having him fly with Krasnopir, but Rotan insisted that we send him earlier because the Olympic team invited rehabilitation therapist Ivan Porobiya. He is a serious level rehabilitator, and Fedir is now under his supervision and in contact with the Rukh doctors.

As for Krasnopir, this is the most expensive transfer in Rukh's history, and we are counting on him in the new season. It was very important for us and for him that he underwent a full training with our team. Of course, he didn't have a full training, but three weeks is better than a week. We explained this to Rotan, and he understood the situation.

Rotan knows Sycha very well and there will definitely be no problems with him. It's just that we have agreements with foreign clubs that their scouts will watch Oleksiy in the game against Luton. They asked that Sych play in this match. The most important thing is that we have found a compromise on all these issues with Rotan and the coaching staff of the Olympic team. There are no problems.
