As for the decisive match with England, the Spanish team possessed the ball very well, played brightly in attacking soccer. It had a lot of favorable moments, but in most cases it was not possible to score. If we talk about the English, I did not like their game. They played more from defense, and they failed to do a lot of things. Although if you take their players, they have a very strong team - all of them play in top clubs. But in terms of the game, I repeat, I did not like England.
- How much does the outcome of the match correspond to the real balance of power?
- The Spaniards became European champions quite deservedly, because the whole distance of the continental championship they went at a good level. Their game, I am sure, did not leave any of the fans indifferent. This is exactly the case when the winner is the team that demonstrates really interesting soccer.
- Who did you like in the winning team?
- In the current composition of the Spanish national team, every player is a famous personality. It is thanks to their class and managed to demonstrate the game, which is inherent in a well-oiled mechanism. Spain had order in all game links, and together with the high individual skill of players, it gave the result.
I would like to emphasize the extreme attacking players - Lamine Yamal on the right flank and Nico Williams on the left. The first of them scored a spectacular goal in the previous semifinal match with France, but in yesterday's game he failed to distinguish himself. Although Yamal had two good chances. I liked these two players in the Red Fury most of all.
