The legendary French national team striker Olivier Giroud has retired from the national team.
Today, the 37-year-old forward officially announced the end of his international career. His last match for Le Blanc was the Euro 2024 semifinal against Spain (1-2).
Giroud is the top scorer in the history of the French national team, with 57 goals in 137 matches. He became a world champion with France in 2018. At Euro 2024, Giroud took part in four matches, but without any results.
