Atletico Madrid has already found the perfect replacement for its striker Alvaro Morata, who will leave the team in the summer.
According to journalist Cesar Merlo on Twitter, the "mattress makers" have begun negotiations on the transfer of Argentina and Manchester City forward Julian Alvarez. The 24-year-old forward has already agreed to a transfer where he will get more playing time.
Earlier, Alvarez refused to renew his contract with Manchester City and asked the club to set a reasonable price for his sale.
Last season, Alvarez played in 36 Premier League matches, scoring 11 goals and providing nine assists.
