Thiago Alcantara, who recently announced his retirement from professional football, has already found a new job.
The former midfielder has officially joined the coaching staff of Hansi Flick at Barcelona. Alcantara will work with the Blaugrana coaching staff as part of a coaching internship until the end of the summer. He will also join the team during the pre-season tour in the United States. Only after this period will the club decide whether to offer the Spaniard a full contract.
Alcantara is a product of Barcelona's academy, but played only three seasons in the first team before joining Bayern Munich in the summer of 2014. Thiago spent the last four years of his career in the colors of Liverpool.
