The recent statement of Ukrainian TV commentator Viktor Vatsko about Partizan Belgrade in the context of the team's confrontation with Dynamo Kyiv in the 2nd qualifying round of the Champions League has significantly "burned" in Serbia.
"Dynamo footballers should go out for two matches with these pi**ers and smear them on the lawn, bury them the fuck under the ground. I don't care what kind of soccer Dynamo will show in the matches with Partizan - Dynamo Kyiv players must just fucking destroy these f**kers on the pitch," Vatsko said, in particular.
Almost all Serbian media reacted to this speech, nervously calling it a "scandal", "disgrace" and the like, but novosti.rs went the furthest, publishing a piece with the following headline about the Ukrainian commentator: "This man should be urgently suspended from sports".
"Ukrainian media in recent days have written a lot about Dynamo's matches with Partizan, especially emphasizing national intolerance, and journalist Viktor Vatsko, who demonstrated his hatred for Partizan and Serbia very openly, demonstrated it the most. Vatsko has sowed hatred before. Such people have no place in sports," wrote, in particular, the Serbian media.
