Former midfielder and captain of Dynamo Kyiv Serhiy Sydorchuk, who now plays for Belgian side Westerlo, spoke about children's football in our country.
"Children's football, and sports in general, is about the comprehensive development of a child: communication skills, sports, teamwork, responsibility, independence.
The most important factor is communication.
Direct communication, in which the child participates: child - child, child - coach, child - parents.
Indirect communication, what the child sees from the outside: parents - parents, parents - coach, parents - children.
This is what shapes a child as a person and will help him or her in the future in all areas of life.
After all, only a few of those who play football and other sports since childhood will reach professional sports. But all of them will live in a society where they need to negotiate, communicate, and be able to express their own opinions," Serhiy wrote on Instagram.
