Ukraine's Olympic team draws with Paraguay in a friendly match

Last Thursday, July 18, Ukraine's Olympic team played its second friendly match against Paraguay in preparation for the 2024 Olympics in France. The match took place in the Aquitaine city of Agetmo at the Alan Lansamen Stadium.

In the 40th minute Marcelo Perez and in the 51st minute Marcelo Fernandez (both - Paraguay) missed penalties.

Hlan opened the scoring in the 31st minute after a pass from Mykhailenko, and later, at the end of the first half and at the beginning of the second, Fesyun parried two penalties. At the end, Fedir doubled the advantage of the blue and yellows, assisted by Ocheretko. However, unfortunately, in the last minutes our team still lost the victory.

Today in the morning, the players of the Ukrainian Olympic team will undergo recovery procedures, and in the afternoon the blue and yellows will travel to Lyon. Batagov will join the team there, and the team will begin direct preparations for the opening match of the Olympics against Iraq.
