Roma striker Paulo Dybala has named one of the most unpleasant moments in his career. In the Europa League final of the 2022/23 season, the Roman club lost in a penalty shootout to Sevilla (1-1, penalties 4-1).
"The defeat in Budapest killed me, I was destroyed. I just wanted to go home and stay there. It was very painful for me to lose that final because I knew that at that moment it would have been something historic for us, just like the World Cup. For the people of Rome, it would have been something unique. To feel the city, to meet people, to feel it in the team. Losing that final destroyed me," Roma Press quoted the Argentine as saying.
