The agent of Barcelona winger Lamin Yamal, Jorge Mendes, is demanding better conditions for the 17-year-old footballer.
According to Diario Sport, Mendes is asking the club's management to revise Yamal's contract so that he earns in line with his sporting achievements. Blaugrana president Joan Laporta is already aware of this and has promised to make economic efforts to satisfy all parties. Barcelona's priorities are to make sure that Yamal is happy and does not think about leaving the club.
Yamal's first professional contract with Barcelona is for three years. It has an option to extend the contract until the summer of 2030 with a significant salary increase.
