Shakhtar Donetsk played another friendly match today as part of their preparations for the new season. The Pitmen's opponent was English Ipswich, who qualified for the APL last season. The friendly ended in a 0-1 defeat for the Pitmen.
This is Shakhtar's second defeat during the summer pre-season training - earlier, the Pitmen lost to Serbian Bacca Topala (0:1). The Pitmen also beat Bosnian Sarajevo (4-1), Turkish Rizespor (5-0) and Besiktas (1-0), and drew with Croatian Hajduk (1-1).
