The head coach of Barcelona's youth team Rafael Marquez is going to leave the Catalan club, TUDN MEX reports.
According to the source, the 45-year-old specialist will join Javier Aguirre's coaching staff in the Mexican national team and lead the national team in 2026. The official announcement is expected in the near future.
As a reminder, Marquez has been working at Barcelona since 2022. This summer, he was considered a candidate for the position of first-team head coach, but the Blaugrana management chose Hans-Dieter Flick.
