Dynamo Kyiv midfielder Vitaliy Buyalsky spoke to the media before the first match of the 2nd qualifying round of the Champions League against Serbian Partizan, which will take place on Tuesday, July 23, in the Polish city of Lublin at the Lublin Arena stadium.
- You are one of the players who played against Partizan seven years ago. Can you compare the opposing team then and now?
- Yes, I have indeed played against Partizan. I remember a very good game in Kyiv, we played with concentration both in defense and in attack. But on the road, we did not do well - we conceded goals in the first half, but in the second half we turned the tide in our favor and won.
As for tomorrow's game, we have almost completely changed the lineup since then. The head coach will tell us how we will act and build our game in defense and attack. If we stay focused from the first minute to the last second, we will be fine.
- In addition to you, in 2017, Georgiy Bushchan and Mykola Shaparenko played against Partizan, as well as Volodymyr Shepelev, who will miss tomorrow's match due to injury. Partizan, on the other hand, has not a single player left who played then. So it's a completely different team?
- It's a completely different team even compared to the one we had two months ago, because they had some players playing in the league, and now they have other players, and they have new players for each position, whom we have been analyzing individually and as a team for 3-4 days. Therefore, I think we will be prepared at 120%.
