The first match of the second round of the Champions League between Dynamo Kyiv and Partizan will take place today in Lublin, Poland. Former player of the national team of Ukraine and Dynamo Serhiy Mizin told whom he favors in this confrontation:
"Although due to the Russian aggression Dynamo are forced to hold home matches on the international arena not at home, but on a neutral field, in my opinion, "Lublin-arena" today will be lucky for Kyivians, who will win - 2:0.
Dynamo's more balanced squad and more international experience should have an impact. Moreover, the Kyivians kept the leading performers, while Belgrade lost a quartet of leaders. But it's their problems.
By the way, Partizan players are characterized by toughness, but they often use simulation to put their teammates off balance. Still, I hope that Oleksandr Shovkovskiy's charges will be ready for such antics of the Belgrade players. The fact that Partizan, despite the boycott of the Russian aggressor by the overwhelming majority of European countries, maintains friendly relations with him, should add to Dynamo's sporting anger. Such outrage should be punished with spectacular play on the soccer field and scoring goals.
I believe in Dynamo, I believe in its leader Andriy Yarmolenko, they should please Ukrainian fans with a confident victory today," Mizin said.
