Matvey Ponomarenko: "Yarmolenko was my idol"

Dynamo striker Matvey Ponomarenko told us who his childhood idol was.

"My idol was Andriy Yarmolenko. He was the team leader, the captain, who scored many goals and gave assists. Of course, it is very nice to play with him now. Honestly, I didn't even think much about it before. I knew that sooner or later, if I worked hard, I would get there. And it so happened that I got to Dynamo and now I share the locker room with my childhood idol," Ponomarenko said.
