It will be recalled that in the group, Ihor Kostiuk's wards defeated Czech Banik (3: 1) and Slovak Slovan (4: 1). And in the semifinals, they left no chance for the Polish Gurnik (Zabrze) - 6:2.
The fate of the final match was decided by two goals scored by Dynamo in the second half. Geric scored both times. First, Zakharchenko approached the penalty area with the ball and pushed it to Vladyslav, and he threw the goalkeeper, who was trying to reduce the angle of attack, over with a great shot and sent the ball into the far corner of the goal.
And less than 10 minutes before the end of regular time, Redushko rolled the ball along the penalty line to Gerich, and he again made a great job of realizing his chance, striking a well-aimed shot from 15 meters.
It should also be noted that from the 55th minute the opponent played in the minority, as the second yellow card for violating the rules against Andreyko was received by the Banika defender.
Thus, having won with a score of 2-0, Dynamo U-19 became the winner of the Frantisek Haraszti Memorial.
