Ukraine's national football team has won its first victory at the Olympic Games in Paris. In the second round, the Ukrainians beat Morocco 2-1.
After the victory, Dmytro Kryskiv, the author of Ukraine's first goal against Morocco, spoke about his emotions about the result. Despite the positive emotions, the footballer emphasized that he was not satisfied with everything in the game against the Moroccans.
"My emotions are positive. I am happy that we managed to snatch the victory in the last minutes. But we probably need to dig into ourselves a little bit, because we can't give the game away like that. I didn't like the way we played at the beginning of the second half and then gave up the lead. It's not like us, we have to play with the ball more. We have quality, we show in some moments that we can play, but it doesn't work out. But I am grateful that the team fought to the end and got 3 points.
We are still in the fight. We will give our best in the next game, just like today, to achieve a positive result.
Was the sending off fair? It's hard to say. In my opinion, there was no penalty in the last match, and the game turned over - I don't know. That's how they took away our game in the last match, there was a red card and a penalty. We need to see, but two such decisions - I don't know, I don't like it," Kryskiv said on SuspilneSport.
