Former Real Madrid goalkeeper Moya Ramos was detained by police in the Canary Islands before a friendly match of his team Tenerife B.
The 24-year-old had a previous court case pending in the summer of 2023, according to Cadena Cope Tenerife, but no details were provided. Despite the Balearic club's efforts to secure his release, it looks like he will spend the weekend in custody, awaiting his case to be heard on Monday.
Ramos was considered a top talent in the Real Madrid academy and spent some time in Zinedine Zidane's first team at the age of 17. Subsequently, his career included Birmingham City, Real Union de Irún, Rayo Cantabria, Aviles and Las Palmas Atlético. Then he returned to his hometown of Tenerife.
