The head coach of Belgrade’s Partizan, Aleksandar Stanoevich, once again touched on the topic of his team’s first match against Kiev’s Dynamo (2:6) in the 2nd qualifying round of the Champions League.
"I was calm after the loss to Dynamo because I know our current capabilities. Some things that the guys tried to implement in this game, we didn’t even have enough time to work on properly in training. This, of course, depends on me; it’s my fault.
Furthermore, we need more competitive players. I see how the club is working on this, but such strengthening should have happened before the start in European competitions," — Stanoevich’s words are quoted by the official website of Partizan.
Let’s remind that the second match between Partizan and Dynamo will take place this Wednesday, July 31, in Belgrade.
