Former German national team and Bayern Munich player Bastian Schweinsteiger, who retired in 2019, does not rule out the possibility of becoming a football coach, following in his brother's footsteps, DPA reports.
The former midfielder now works as an analyst on German television. In an interview with Kicker, he said that he is satisfied with his current position, but may soon take up football again.
"I want to pass on my knowledge and experience to the team one day," Schweinsteiger said. He was asked if he was talking about a coaching position and replied: "Someday, maybe."
However, Schweinie emphasized that there are no concrete plans at the moment. His brother Tobias last managed the German second division club Osnabrück.
