"Yaremchuk's move to Olympiacos is a complete chicardos" - journalist

Renowned journalist Serhiy Tyshchenko talks about the expected transfer of Ukrainian forward Roman Yaremchuk to Greek club Olympiacos.

Roman Yaremchuk

"The move to Olympiacos is a very good and successful decision for Roman Yaremchuk. A warm country, a status club, a good salary. Yaremchuk's agent is just a magician. Without any special talents, Roma played in Ghent, Benfica, Brugge, Valencia and now Olympiacos. At the age of 29, signing a contract for 4 seasons with Oli with a salary of 1.5 million euros per year is a complete chicardos.

You need to understand that Olympiacos hasn't won the Greek championship for two years, although it was the championship leader for many seasons before that. The team is normally in turmoil. Coaches are changing. AIK and PAOK are not so great, and Oli is weak. I wouldn't take the victory in the LC too highly, because this tournament was invented for clubs like Olympiacos to win.

Today's Olympiacos has no stars. The team is made up of downed pilots, minor legionnaires and local players. In Greece, a lot depends on the coach.

I don't believe in Roman Yaremchuk. He has no finesse in football. He can only be successful when he really wants to be, when he works to the maximum. At his age, working to the maximum leads to injuries. The epic of his return to Belgium may already be relevant next summer or in two seasons," Serhiy wrote on Telegram.
