Aleksandar Stanojevic, the head coach of Belgrade Partizan Aleksandar Stanojevic touched upon the topic of Dynamo Kyiv's statements related to the fact that the Serbian club went to Moscow for friendly matches with local teams before the confrontation with the Ukrainian club in the 2nd qualifying round of the Champions League.
- I would not like to comment on non-soccer things. We had no problems on the road in Lublin (the Polish city hosted Dynamo's first match with Partizan - ed.). Yes, I heard some statements of Dynamo, but I am not interested in it.
"Partizan" and our fans have been maintaining friendly, brotherly relations with CSKA for 50 years. It was so in the times of the USSR, and it is so now, and we don't care what the name of the country is at the moment. This is sport, and nothing else will be our motivation when we play against Dinamo Belgrade on Wednesday," said Stanojevic during yesterday's pre-match press conference.
