Midfielder of the Ukrainian Olympic team: "With Argentina, we lacked realization and, to some extent, luck"

Oleg Fedor, midfielder of the Ukrainian Olympic team, commented on the match of the 2024 Olympic Games football tournament against Argentina.

On July 30, the Ukrainian Olympic team lost to Argentina (0: 2) in the third match of the group round of the 2024 Games football tournament and stopped fighting. After the game, blue and yellow midfielder Oleg Fedor shared his emotions.

"In general, I have very positive emotions about the Olympics as a tournament. But after the match, all the guys are very upset because we failed to get out of the group.

With Argentina, we lacked realization and, to some extent, luck. It's not just this match - we had to press in the game against Iraq, not let them in. That game was completely in our hands, but we let it go so easily that it is now showing.

I gained international experience with experienced high-class players. It was only good for me. The support of the fans was very much felt, it's a pity that we couldn't give them a victory," said Fedir.
