According to Romanian media reports, former Dynamo Kyiv head coach Mircea Lucescu consulted with his family about the possibility of his return to work as a coach of the Romanian national team.
Razvan Lucescu urged him to accept if he felt he could achieve results with the Romanian national team. "Father, if you think you can succeed, take the team," he said.
Nelie, Mircea's wife, is cautious, however, and would rather not advise her husband to take the job. As for Lucescu Sr. himself, he takes the offer from the local federation very seriously. He says that it started with the national team, and let it end with the national team.
