Galatasaray's Italian midfielder Nicolo Zagnolo, who was recently loaned to Atalanta for a year, spoke about his return to Serie A.
"As soon as I learned about the interest from this club, I didn't even want to hear about other offers. I chose this project without any delay. This is the most appropriate step for my career. Everyone knows how good the coach is here, who knows how to bring out the best in young players.
I can play in any role, from center forward to trequartista. There is competition for places here, it's part of the sport, and I'm happy to be part of this strong team. I want to be 100 percent ready for the match against Real Madrid. I made my debut in adult football against Real Madrid, but then I didn't score, maybe this time it will work out," Football Italia quoted Zagnolo as saying.
It will be recalled that Atalanta will start the new season with a UEFA Super Cup match against Real Madrid. The match will take place on August 14 at the Narodowy Stadium in Warsaw.
