Anatoliy Bessmertny: "Dynamo" pleasantly surprised, looked great against Partizan"

Former Dynamo Kyiv defender Anatoliy Bessmertny shared his impressions of his former team's confrontation with Partizan Belgrade (6:2, 3:0) in the 2nd qualifying round of the Champions League.

- Dinamo defeated Partizan quite deservedly. Dinamo won the first match on class, but in the second match it was felt that one team acted at one speed, and the second - at another. "Dinamo" pleasantly surprised, because they looked great in both meetings. I liked it. We can state that the Kyiv team passed to the next round of the Champions League on all accounts. It was just better - that's all.

- Many experts believe that Partizan is not the opponent to determine the strength of the current Dynamo. What do you think?

- We start from the specific matches with the Serbs. Yes, perhaps Partizan is not as strong as it used to be. After all, the Belgrade team sells players and so on. But be that as it may, and against the background of the current Partizan, Dinamo was better. Let's look at our team in the next matches and see how it will be.

- What can you say about Scottish soccer in general and about the next opponent of Kyiv, Rangers, in particular?

- "Rangers" is the flagship of Scottish soccer. It, as well as its other representatives, are fighting teams, charged to fight. Its players are characterized by endurance, run and do not concede in one-on-one battles. So I think the matches with this opponent will be interesting.
