Belgrade "Partizan" after the fiasco in the two-match confrontation with Dynamo Kyiv (2:6, 0:3) was under fire of harsh criticism of the Serbian media.
The capital's team received most of all, perhaps, from the publication SrpskaInfo, which published an article entitled "This Partizan gets praise only after victories in villages".
The media was no less scathing about Partizan in the text of the publication itself.
"Kyiv Dynamo strolled through Belgrade with a 3-0 victory. Whoever watched the match could have the impression that the Ukrainian grand came to the match with strong preparation, while Partizan behaved like a sparring partner. And in the first match in Lublin, Stanojevic's team turned out to be a toy in Dynamo's hands, having been defeated 6:2.
It is not worth commenting at all, if you look at the overall result of the two matches: Partizan - Dinamo - 2:9. This is the heaviest defeat of Partizan in the history of the club! Disgraceful!
And if we add up the performance of the Black and Whites in the last two matches in Europe - against Dinamo and a year ago against Nordshelann (play-off round of the Conference League last season, 0:5 on the opponent's field and 0:1 in Belgrade - ed.), we get a simply staggering number! So, in these four games Partizan scored two goals and conceded an incredible 15! This usually happens only with clubs from Malta, Faroe Islands or Andorra.
"Dinamo" has not had normal trainings for more than two years because of the war in Ukraine. This club has no high-level matches even in the domestic championship. And this Dinamo humiliated Partizan and Serbian soccer in general. In both matches Oleksandr Shovkovskiy's wards dominated, possessed the ball, ran more, fought better and were eventually rewarded.
It is clear that Partizan will be a big cheat for the fans this season as well. Praise is written after the victory over Unity in Uba (4:0, Serbian championship - ed.), but when a stronger opponent takes the field, coach Stanojevic's team becomes a toy for the opponent.
Now Partizan is on its way to the main stage of the Europa League, which will start with Lugano. Such "Partizan" will not and cannot hope for a better result than with "Dinamo", because the Swiss have quality, and, therefore, the team of Stanojevic again awaits a large number of problems", - writes the edition.
