Ruslan Rotan, head coach of the Ukrainian Olympic team, summarized the team's performance at the 2024 Olympic Games.

"I want to thank the team. During this time, the guys listened to the coaching staff as much as possible, they did what we asked of them. However, they are judged by the result. I would note that we still believed that we could play football, possess the ball, control the match and create chances.

European scouts are interested in us, so this is a good sign. I'm sure some guys already have offers. We have come a long way. I thanked them for every moment, for every training session and for every game, where they were true professionals. I wanted to go further, but this is sport. The strongest always wins," Rotan was quoted as saying by the Vzbirna telegram channel.
