"I talked to Zlatan. He said I would like it, that it was a good league for strikers. Teams don't play to defend and keep the lead. They play to score goals and make the fans happy.
I can bring my experience and professionalism, I can give advice to my teammates. I understand that MLS is different from European leagues. The championship has become better in recent years, but it is simply different. I'll need to adapt, but I'm ready to contribute," Giroud was quoted as saying by ESPN.
