On Saturday, August 3, Dynamo's youth team started playing in the new U-19 championship season. As part of the opening round 1 of the Ukrainian U-19 Championship, Ihor Kostiuk's team met with Oleksandriya from Kirovohrad region. This match was an away match for our team and took place on the field of the Nika-Plus stadium.

Dynamo started the match confidently and began to use pressure from the first minutes. Balaba took a free kick - Makarenko managed to react and knock the ball out for a corner, and after the corner kick, the hosts were able to fight back. Later, Kyiv continued to take the initiative and play in the opponent's half of the field.
In the 20th minute, the game was interrupted due to an air raid. After the game resumed, the teams had to play in a heavy downpour. In the middle of the half, the game took place mainly in the middle of the field, without particularly dangerous moments at the gates of both teams.
At the beginning of the second half, Kyiv took the lead. The team's first goal of the new season was scored by the White and Blues' newcomer Alexandre Peikrishvili.
The score was 0-1 until stoppage time, and in the 91st minute Ivan Andriyko scored the second goal, setting the final score of the game at 0-2.
